The Information Commissioner's Office is the UK's independent public body set up to promote access to official information and to protect personal information. The ICO regulate and enforce the Data Protection Act.
The following information relates largely to the use of static CCTV solutuions however the principles that apply to mobile CCTV are largely the same. You should contact the ICO directly to clarify best practice regarding data protection in mobile environments.
